What a lab report needs to show
A lab report shows the patient’s name and id, the test, the result, the unit, and that lab’s reference range. The range cannot be copied from a textbook onto every lab. It changes with the analyser, the kit, and the patient. Prottoy lets the lab enter its own range. The software does not name a disease.
Saidpur Diabetic Samity logged 993 lab orders from 2 September 2026 to 13 October 2026, and holds 6,894 patient records including the list imported at the start. Those counts do not prove a reference range for any test.
Before the report is printed
- The patient is the existing person, not a new form
- The test name and the unit match
- The range belongs to this lab, not a photo from another lab
- A result outside the range is marked, and the mark is not a diagnosis
- The person who signs is named on the report
This page does not say which sugar or HbA1c number is normal. That belongs to the lab’s kit and the clinician. Prottoy’s prices are on the pricing page.
